There were many ads to love in 2019 - from Samsung's to Serena Williams in Nike's .
But my favorite collection of campaigns came in a flurry about midyear, flowing as an undercurrent to the U.S. women's soccer team's global glory. Hulu was hilarious with its satire calling out the distrust of influencers and sponsorships, while Budweiser, Secret and more all took turns seeing who could bring out the most tears.
